Calling and Ministry Focus

Dr. Ehihi currently serves as a chaplain in the United States Army, providing spiritual care, counseling support, and leadership guidance to Soldiers and their families. This role has shaped his understanding of trauma, grief, stress, identity, and faith under real-world pressure.

He is also the founder and pastor of Bonafide Community Fellowship, a ministry committed to authentic discipleship, spiritual maturity, and community rooted in truth and grace. His pastoral work emphasizes presence, formation, and long-term spiritual health rather than short-term results.

His areas of focus include:
  • pastoral counseling and spiritual care

  • emotional and mental wellness through a faith-informed lens

  • leadership development and character formation

  • grief, loss, burnout, and life transitions

  • supporting service members, leaders, and families

Education and Professional Formation

Dr. Ehihi’s academic journey reflects a commitment to both theological depth and psychological understanding, allowing him to serve people holistically—mind, soul, and spirit.

His education includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

  • Master of Divinity

  • Doctor of Ministry (Pastoral Counseling)

  • PhD candidate in Psychology and Counseling (trauma-focused, non-licensure track)

He continues to pursue advanced training in counseling and pastoral care as part of his long-term vision for ministry, consulting, and teaching beyond military service.

Writing, Teaching, and Creative Expression

Dr. Ehihi is the author of several books and devotional resources centered on faith, leadership, healing, and personal growth. His writing is practical, reflective, and rooted in lived experience, designed to help readers engage faith in everyday life.

In addition to writing and teaching, he expresses his calling through Christian worship and reflective music, creating space for prayer, stillness, and encounter—particularly for those who struggle to articulate what they carry internally.

Across all forms of expression, his guiding conviction is simple:

Faith should help people live with clarity, hope, and purpose—not just endure life.
